A crowd-sourced NFT art project reimagining humanity’s future - through the eyes of children.
“Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future.” - Nelson Mandela
Imagine asking a child to draw one thing that they really wish comes true. What would they draw?
A green Earth filled with plants and flowers. People being kind, friendly to each other. Unlimited ice cream for everyone!
Perhaps it’s time humanity allowed its childlike innocence to guide its conscience, and the way forward?
These are some of the submissions we received at the launch of ‘Wish Upon a Star’ - WUAS a global, crowd-sourced NFT art project that celebrates the past, present and future of the human race.
With award-winning digital artist Amit Shimoni as chief art director, WUAS is an initiative by House of Legends - HOL, an NFT project showcasing history’s most inspiring people in creative arts, social activism, science, technology and more.
We invited children from across the world to submit drawings of a wish they have for their own future, or the human race as a whole. From thousands of submissions, Shimoni and his team chose 30 drawings to feature in ‘Wish Upon a Star’ (WUAS) - a special collection of NFT artworks that depicts history’s iconic figures, such as Mahatma Gandhi and Dalai Lama, holding up the chosen drawings.
With this series of NFT artworks, we conspired a meeting of humanity’s past generations with its own future custodians, in a manner that cuts across the barriers of space and time.
Eytan will carry the WUAS NFT collection on the AX-1 mission, 5 of which he will showcase from space to the entire planet during his mission at the International Space Station for the whole world to see. In today’s tumultuous times, we hope that it serves as a message of hope, love and unity on Earth.
Upon completion of the mission the five works will be offered for sale and 100% of the proceeds will be used for HOL’s charity initiative - to provide access to clean drinking water in communities in India and Africa.
